"Nilp!" (milk)
"Weeewhat" (yogurt)
"Momee cahcoo" (Mommy's coffee)
"Whabweee" (strawberry-- one of his first signs, now voluntarily replaced with the real word. *sniffsniff* my baby's growing up!)

Sofi: re-defining the English Language since 2002
...pulling into the church parking lot for the second day of vbs at 9:54 am...
"Oh no! Hurry, Mama! We're going to miss it!"
"Sweetie, we're early. Six minutes early."
"But that just means in six minutes we'll be REALLY LATE!!!"
"No, in six minutes we'll be on time. Right now we're early."
"No we're not, we're almost late!"
OCD, anyone???

The tale of a Baby Knight
Judah and Daddy made Jamie a wooden sword and shield and then took some time to teach him how to use it...
Look at me, Mama!
I am SO fierce!
I think I got it, Dad, let me try...
See? Watch me CRUSH him!!
Uh oh...
I"m hit! I'm hit!
Mama, I can't believe you're over there laughing and taking pictures!!

Sofi's room: Update
I was browsing through old blog archives today, because I'm narcissistic that way I love to remember those moments, and I realized that I've neglected to keep y'all updated with the house interior for quite some time! In particular Sofi's room and the yards... I'll start with her room-- since it's the most complete in the house so far. Here are pics from today:
Looking in from the doorway:
Looking at the other side of the window:
The pin board in the picture above and the table below are our newest "do-overs". Susi, recognize that little table??
And the wooden name plaques are a birthday gift-- Thanks, Aunt Susi!!

He's finally starting to talk
"Bee bo baaaa???" big boy bed
"Beet bop" cake pop at Starbucks
"Cuhlur" squirrel
"DEEEEEEty!" dirty
"DOO!" "two," used to ask for more of something when given only one-- as in "NO! DOO pairbul!" (pretzel) Or "DOO beee" ("bee" is his lovey blanket- he prefers to have a backup with him at all times)
"Gah guy?" good guy-- super hero or character of any kind, also "Maimee Gah guy?" "Jamie is a good guy"-- when being a super hero or other character
"Wah wah?" Phone. Don't ask. I have no idea. Perhaps Charlie Brown???
"Ahtsieeed Wahdeer???" Pool. Used to be, anyway. Now he just says "bool". More accurate, less cute.
"Whah Wiiiiyeed?" Originally meant "other side"-- for nursing. Now used to redirect. As in "No! Whah Wiiiiyeeed!" when he wants to move something or someone.
He still mainly communicates with signs and grunts, all of which are super cute, but don't translate well to the written word. He consistently clams up and refuses to "talk" when I bring out the video camera, so you'll just have to take my word on it.
