As with any wedding, it's the flub-ups that make it special. Right? Of course right. Between traffic keeping family from arriving on time and the breaking down of cars carrying groomsmen, the church was empty:

In Ethiopian tradition, the groom goes to fetch the bride before the ceremony. Sam and his groomsmen drove to the Hotel in D-ville to pick up Mina and the bridesmaids in our Western version of this tradition.
In the meantime, the guests gathered in the church and the musicians began to play, all innocently unaware of the clouds gathering on the metaphorical horizon...

Arrived home to 93 emails and 200 new posts in my blogroll. Will have to catch up before I get back to ya. In the meantime, let the anticipation build!!
