I Heart Faces: Blue

As you can see, I'm back in the blogging saddle again after taking a week off to recover from Road Trip 09. So to celebrate, I wanted to join in today's I Heart Faces Challenge. This week is all about blue; which happens to be my favorite color. I chose this photo not so much for it's technical perfection (which is non-existent) as for Sofi's expression-- which is one I expect I'll be seeing more and more of as we approach the teen years. And of course, the beautiful blue sky puts it nicely in this week's category :)

I tried to upload to Photobucket, as I usually do, but something's up with Firefox and it won't let me.... Hmmm. So that explains the grainy quality-- Blogger Photo uploads stuff all weird.

Don't forget to click on the picture to see it full-size!

Now go check out all the other blue faces this week :)

Very sweet. That is a great expression and I love how this is framed. It's great to have all the space in the upper left for the sky. This is really excellent.

Ah, the signs of things to come, eh? I'm already getting this look sometimes from my 4-year old!

I really like the composition of this pic! :)

Jenny,

I wouldn't know. I'm not old enough to remember that long ago.

I also love blue skies! Her expression is beyond cute... until she is a teeanager and then you may have to run! LOL I have three girls to worry about in the teenage years together! Wowsers!

I LOVE that! Her face is so... I dunno, young girl! It's innocent yet also up to something, *almost* aggravating but actually funny. Love it, love it, love it! Oh yeah, and the composition is great too. :) Doing things other than the standard front-and-center is somewhat challenging to me, so I enjoy seeing the fruits of other peoples creativity. :D
